A NEW COMMUNICATION REGARDING VERSUS

What: VERSUS has been removed from the DIRECTV line-up.
When: Effective Sept. 1.
Why: DIRECTV made every effort to keep VERSUS a part of its programming line-up, but due to unsuccessful contract negotiations, the channel has been removed.
How: CSRs should use the talking points listed in DORIS to successfully address customers' concerns regarding changes to their programming.


If a customer threatens to disconnect their DIRECTV services:
· Apologize for any inconvenience
· Resell the value of their current programming package
· Let the customer know that standard cancellation rules will apply if they disconnect prior to their service agreement end
· Transfer to CRG if customer still wants to disconnect their account
